Perhaps the first show Jean-Michel Basquiat would be included in at Club 57 was Keith Haring’s “Club 57 Invitational”.
Besides a Keith Haring drawing requesting submissions, there is very little documentary evidence of this show. A xerox “booklet” incorporating all of the works was supposed to have been produced. However, beyond some extant Xeroxes from various artists, there is no evidence to suggest the booklet was produced.
