pat hearn gallery group show invitation
Warhol muse and co-founder of the Armory Show, Pat Hearn ran her eponymous gallery from 1983 - 2000 where she championed Artists ranging from Philip Taaffe to Mary Heilmann.
Presented here is an invitation with accompanying embossed envelope to a particularly interesting group exhibition which included works by George Condo, Rainer Fetting and others.
Biographies of George Condo list the famous 1983 “Terminal New York” as his first group show, which would thus make this early 1984 exhibition likely amongst his earliest.
